Before I started one year ago, I didn’t know how to eat healthy or simple habits that can change my state of mind when it comes to fitness and healthy living.
I feel that motivating each other motivates me to keep pursuing this lifestyle I’ve adopted.
It’s not easy to start the journey alone especially when you just don’t know where to begin. Grasping the big picture is far more important than jumping on a fad exercise or fad dieting program.
I’m in this for the long haul. I fail all the time as I try to keep up this healthy lifestyle. I miss workouts, I eat more ice cream than I need to, but I have always gotten back on that train because I remember how incredible I feel when I don’t break a sweat carrying heavy kids or briskly walking a lengthy distance at the Walmart parking lot.
Were not trying to become body builders or elite athletes. I’m focused on living a life where I can weather tough physical situations, go skiing (a very physical activity), pick up heavy boxes without straining my back and keeping up with little ones.
So I appreciate you being here and motivating me along with others who have no idea where to begin. And some of us are seasoned yet still need positive reinforcement continuously because its not as fun to do this alone.
